• Program/Project Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Industrial or similar), 15 years or more of experience.

• Bilingual with Puerto Rico FMCG (Fast Moving Consuming Goods) or pharmaceutical projects experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement best practices for Project Management.
• Implement effective controls for assuring safety in projects.
• Develop basic design (as required) for establishing technical scope for projects: BFD, P&IDs, Layout, URS, other similar.
• Develop RFP scopes and deliverables for biddings and proposal estimates.
• Manage Vendors and contractors for obtaining quotations, technical proposals and detailed plans for projects in all disciplines required.
• Prepares CapEx project proposals including goals, technical scope, time frame, budget, business case, CapEx, Expenses, Write Off, project team, regulatory permits and endorsements, general contract management, preliminary risk assessment, start up and commissioning requirements.
• Liaison with Site Leadership Team assuring all project metrics are aligned with plant Needs – (KPIs, such as cost savings, equipment efficiency, operational expenditure, Capital-related expenses, Sustainability) and projects expectations are considered in final project proposal.
• Prepare reports for communicating projects preparation progress and ask for support in a timely manner if there is any risk for obtaining the expected results

Skills:

• CapEx management in FMCG or Pharmaceutical.
• GMP and manufacturing quality standards.
• Basic Design skills (Lay Outs, Process flow diagrams, manufacturing process/filling/packing equipment).
• Project Management methodology.
• Experience with process, filling, packing and EoL equipment (e.g. pumps, compressors, rotating drum).
• Experience with Rotating equipment (e.g. pumps, compressors, rotating drum).
• Know-how of Static equipment (e.g. Heat exchanger, vessel, tanks).
• Understand compliance requirements for all applicable codes and standards.
• Coordination with vendors & engineering consultants.
• Cross functional organization understanding.
